ABOUT

Johanna Strand is a designer based in Kalmar, Sweden, with a studio at Lindöateljéerna. She was educated at Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design and Beckmans College of Design.

Her work focuses on site-specific concepts and artistic commissions for public spaces, where spatial qualities, tactility and graphic clarity are combined with a sense of playfulness and reflection.

Through dialogue with the site and the people who use it, the work aims to create engaging and meaningful environments that feel memorable, safe and accessible.
